Mediation     

Aun Qurashi is an accredited mediator.

He is available to mediate in relation to - 
   - Civil and Commercial disputes;
   - Neighbour and Community disputes;
   - Architecture, Planning and Construction disputes.

Aun gained accreditation as a mediator in 1999 and for six years assisted in the resolution of community disputes as a volunteer with a local non-profit mediation service. Completing commercial cross-over training in 2004, and adding solo-mediation to his experience of co-mediation and shuttle mediation, he went on to mediate and negotiate in relation to architecture, planning and construction.

He refreshed his qualification as a civil and commercial mediator in 2024 to international standards through the Society of Mediators, as well as undertaking SEND mediation training in 2025, both accreditations being recognised by the Civil Mediation Council.

Separately being a magistrate, and as a member of the disciplinary investigations panel for a professional body, he has a clear appreciation of the relative merits of consensual and judicial approaches to dispute resolution and would always recommend pursuing the ‘win-win’ outcome of mediation over the cost, time and stress of adversarial alternatives.
